FExplorer problem...

I have a 256MB PQI MMC and a card reader/writer. I downloaded the FExplorer_english_111.SIS file from the gosymbian.com site and I can’t get it to open on the QD. I formatted the MMC on the computer and the QD and I have tried putting the file in several of the QD’s formatted folders.

How do I get it to install?

try emailing it to your phone, and opening from your inbox... that's how i did it, and it works just fine... that's how i actually load most of my proggies...

I can't get my email to work either. The phone keeps asking me to check the email settings (because I am not sure what my phone's email address is through T-mobile)

Is there a way to do it with the MMC card?

You don't have an email address through T-mobile really. The address you're referring to is only to send messages, images and the like to your phone and is not an accessible email box like you are thinking.

What you should be doing to setting up to access YOUR ISP email account from your ISP. That way you can email yourself the file. Some even go so far as to setup a hotpop account and then email the files they need to that account which they access on their phone.

I tried to use the file manager, but it doesn't display the file. I might be putting it in the wrong folder on the card, but I tried putting it in several folders.

Could a setting be off or something? I haven't changed any of the factory settings or anything.

dont put it in a folder...just put it on the "mmc"...

I got it to work. It took a few tries, but it is on there now! I tried putting it on the card before I put the folders on and it wasn't there and then I formatted it on the N-gage and the folders were put on the card (and it didn't work then either!). I took the folders off and it worked.

Thanks for the help!!!
