Does anyone know how to remove & replace the faceplate on the 8200? I bought a couple replacements, and all the instructions said was "Remove two Torx-6 screws" Does anyone know the location of these screws?

TIA

Where did you find face plate for the 8200?

Also, the screws are located on the bottom of the top flip...you will see a spot where 2 ovals are. Those are stickers that peel right off...
That is where the screws are.

I purchased the tri-wing screwdriver here. They run out quick, keep checking. It's not the best quality, but it works. The screws are a little tight, so be careful not to strip them or the screwdriver.

I was able to take out the 4 screws (on the 4 corners of the main LCD) and separate the plastic halves using a credit card. But I am not sure how to the the two ends off of the flip bar.

Does anyone know how to get past this part?

With a very thin/small flat screw driver.. Then use your "Y" screw driver to remove screws..

Theres actually 4 screws on the flip and 4 screws on the back. On the flip there are 2 screws behind the screw caps near the earpiece and there are also 2 screws near the bottom under 2 other screw caps. After you remove these screws, take something thin like a credit card and slide it down the seam of the housing and it should press the release tabs allowing you to remove the housing. When you replace the housing, be sure to put the twist in the ribbon cable as it is in the original housing. It is quite difficult to get the ribbon to twist correctly but it is necessary to prevent the ribbon from being damaged.
