connecting to pc?

hi, i'm planning to buy the p910 but i have several qns..
1. to connect to a pc to transfer large files, do i have to get a memory stick reader and transfer files directly to/from the memory stick? or is there something like a usb cable that allows it to be done? is the usb cable included in the package?
2. is there such a thing as a 1 gb memory stick? how much will that cost approximately?
3. is the phone able to play/record media directly to/from the memory sticks?
