Anyone get L1400 IR to Work?

Ive tried transfering files to my L1400 from my T616, and my computer via Infra-red, and neither seem to recognize it. Was wondering if anyone had been able to get it to work, and if so how?

Got IR to work, somewhat.

step 1 - download and install IrComm2K.
On my machine, I set "allow only active IR Connection establishment" to be checked, everything else left at default.

step 2 - set max speed of computer's IR port to 57600

step 3 - download and install the L1100_english.exe from lge.com. This will install the LG PC Sync, LG Internet Kit, and LG Contents Bank.

step 4 - run one of the 3 above programs. Point the program to the COM port that is now linked to the IR (through IRComm2K)

step 5 - turn on the IR on the phone (menu 7-6-9) and point it at the computer's IR port.

You can now connect and do things to the phone.

The only things I've gotten to work are the PC sync to retrieve/set phonebook entries, and the Contents bank to send new ringtones and wallpaper to the phone. Haven't been able to pull any pictures from the phone or send any Java games to the phone.

It seems like the LG's L1100_english.exe programs or the like (maybe Susteen's DataPilot) might be needed to do anything with the IR port on this phone.

Thanks for the info, i was worried i my phone was messed. The LG download site is down right now, but when its fixed ill give this a try.

went through all the software pages on lge.com, and was unable to find the L1100_english.exe software. If anyone knows where I can find this software, please let me know, Thanks.
