The last one I got from Handango... a "supposed" theme but it doesn't work like one... I had to put it in a folder or on the menu and if you leave it running the backlight stays on and sucks up all my memory, and it uses the camera to run so I can't use the camera again til I get rid of it

Broke down guys......couldnt take it anymore......was pulling hairs out of my head seeing all the nice themes.....they were taunting me. So i went out and spent the money. I bought the 6620 from Cingular. I took my ATT wireless account, which i have had for 8 years, and made it into a Cingular account. Im very happy with the phone so far....but need themes....MUST HAVE THEMES....going to be PMing a few people about themes I want.....those wonderful themes have posioned my mind. (also ate my checkbook)

I feel ya HighLife. I broke down and bought the 7610 luckily for a good price. I have always thought about buying it but when I saw this thread and the themes I knew I had to get it. Once my baby arrives Im going to load a crapload of themes on it.

i used fexplorer to locate the 97x25 bmp file and hit options, file, set as carrier, shows up all the time

yeah, i have the bloody theme studio, but it's so slow! and it doesn't always save everything... unless i'm doing something wrong... but i'll eventually get around to it, especially during one of my very very few vacations... or perhaps during next semester, when class loads will be less.

I haven't been able to do much with it either. I haven't had 3+ hours to sit down and play with it enough to make a theme.

Yeah, I had a ton of trial stuff too. I just removed them and installed other stuff.

OMG now I have a new addiction. I've coverted 3 different font types!!

The font style is called neuropol and the theme is the 6630 theme. You can find the font on www.dafont.com.

I used the 6600 Theme Editor. You have to have all the right size pictures (you size them yourself), and put them into the theme.

Yes you will need 2 programs smart launcher and skin editor.

Here is what I do install smart launcher and skin editor. Send yourself a skin (you can find some here http://www.mybiznas.com/mobiles/n7650_3650/skins.html) by email. Once receive the skin editor should detect it.

One thats done you can choose the option edit and modify stuff for the skin like I did above.

For the icons I used paint to make them. They must be 31pixels in lenght and 33 high. You will need to pics for every icon the main picture and a mask. What is white in the main pic and the mask will become see threw against the background.

I downloaded the programs last night, and finally played with them today at work. This is what I've come up with so far.

I like the custom icons that I got, like the FExplorer and the Contacts one. But I don't really think that I want a theme like that. I prefer the standard white background and I really just want to change the icons. I guess if I tinker with it more I'll figure it out. Thanks!

For the background like the icons you can make it yourself. I do it using paint. Whatever picture you want it has to be 176 * 208 pixels.

Send it and save it to your phone (same as for the icons and icon masks).

In the skin editor choose the edit option for your skin and by pressing on the right with the joystick you will have different options.

For the option called launcher you can change the backgroud pic and the colors for the text.

Taskman is for when you press and hold the menu key. You can modify its settings there.

Custom icons is where you put your icons. Pick options and then new icon.

Icon for- is for the option you want it for
Icon- this is for the icon you made that has color
Icon mask- this is for the same icon but the black and white one

Then click ok and then options and ok again and your good to go

For 12 icons, your using SmartLauncher right? Or is there something else that I dont know about?

OH, and by the way. Since you dont like text on your screen and you just like to see your wallpaper, I usually make a profile and instead of typing a name I just put a period (a dot . ) and you can usually barely see it, so it looks good. I noticed in your screen shots the profile was on Silent so I just thought I'd give you the tip.

Yes im using smart launcher for 6600. The old one would make my phone crash. As for the profile name I used to put a space but the 6620 from ATT wont allow it

I still say the Mango themes are the best !!!!!!!!!
I dont have the 6620 any more but i use some of the graphics for my HX 4700 and other Nokias.
I jus extraxt the files and use the bmp file.
I have tunz of them. But only can post so much

Very nice. Looks great!

How is that font working out for you? I was going to change my font on my phone but then I got scared since you cant reverse the process... The only way to do it is by finding a similar font to the standard Nokia one and write over that one.... right?

BTW, does it change the text when your writing a text message aswell? Or when your writing a text message, you still use the usual Nokia font.

You are not stuck with the font. Just use the font remover program and then re-start your phone. Your original fonts are still stored on your phone. (Can't remember the file path)

And yes your font does change for text messages, however the recipent does not see it the way you send it.

Knowledge ~ all you have to do to get rid of any font you put on is delete the new font.... the original's are still installed and it will automatically revert back to it. I like this font for this particular theme but it does make some things a little bit harder to read.... looks so nice though I can live with it
