Which version of CB2000 and which type of cable? Are you test your cable with other software like Handset Manager - for sure it work properly?

This stub antenna - is the signal same like with original?

the stubby antenna, on o2 seems to have the same signal strenght, i got mine on ebay for about 3 pounds. i am using cb2000m 1.5 i think and the data cable works fine on the panasonic x70 phone manager. i just keep getting the same error failed coms. i got the link for cb2000 of this forum. and other people it seems to work fine for, i thought it might be that i was using a usb version 1.1, and the cable was usb 2, i ant sure about that i will check this and get back to you.

thanks for your reply.

ps

the stubby arial i think makes it look classy, it is a silver polish stub.

I had the same problem

Change the speed setting on your COM port to 19200 and make sure the same setting is selected in CB2000.

To do this, right Click My Computer and select
Hardware -> Device Manager -> Ports

Right click the port you want and in the Properties, change the speed. If this still doesn't work try slowing it down further.
