Software for i860

Will the software used to put games and pics and stuff be the same for the 860? I heard that the cables are diffrent. So im assuming that webjal will need to be upgraded?

anyone know the specs for the MP3's?
just standard 44100, 16 bit, Stereo...
or will they have to be mono, or 8 bit or .... whats up anyone?
