The new version of BitPim (0.7.19 ) will not support Audiovox CDM8900 phones.

I've noticed a lot of people talking about using BitPim. What version do you use? Where can I get a copy?
I'm also having problems getting Brewsky 1.01 to work.
I can connect to com6 (It's what my Curitel Packet Service is running on) but i can not upload or download anything from my phone...

Can anybody point me in the right direction here???

I'm using a verizon wireless phone... If that helps....

I am using BitPim version 0.7.17 Official Development Version

I use it for my Kyocera SE47 Slider, but I have used it a couple times on my wife's CDM8900 using 'phone type: LG-VX4600' under 'settings' tab. Worked fine. (My cable is Kyocera TXDTA10054)

It only works for file transfers though. All the other tabs (phone book, ringers, etc) DO NOT work. You just have to upload the wallpapers, ringer, etc into their corresponding folders.

It worked great for getting the pictures off the phone!

really read through the faq at the top because i was having a lot of trouble using bitpim with my phone untill i read that really close...its helps a lot especially when it comes to ringtones. just remeber with those you have to write a new download snd.txt for each ringtone you upload with the ringtones tools thing (link is in the faq)
