got a datacable today with a box in the middle (its made for the 8900 and the driver cd says curitel?)

well i put it in my 8600 and my phone says battery low and powers off (battery is fully charged)

whats up with this? now my moms 8900 isnt here to try it on

hmm guess thats how it is...seems to shutdown the phone then light it on, but not the main screen (im guessing thats how its setup?)

well, now first thing first, HOW THA HELL DO I GET THE USB DRIVERS INSTALLED ON XP PRO SP2?

The darn thing wont find the driver, I installed the Curitel CD (aswell as the update from their site), it loads some packet software, but usb device is still Unknown..

I tried with the cable from Radio Shack and had the same problem. It is better to order the cable from Verizon, though it is more expensive. I believe it turns off because the pins in the cable are not correct for the 8600.
