How about linking us to a picture of the car you want to make into a wallpaper.

Then someone could easily convert it for you.

I have three silver lancer's. I hope this is what you were looking for. http://photobucket.com/albums/v383/...Wallpaper/Cars/

Here's a couple from me.

I really don't like pics where the aspect ratio is off (a squished car)...

You can learn to do it yourself.

HOW TO PREPARE WALLPAPERS WITH PHOTOSHOP FOR VX6000

OVERVIEW

1) load pic into Photoshop
2) change your background color
3) crop the picture
4) canvas the picture to the same ratio as 120X131 (i.e., 1024X1118) e.g., for a picture that was cropped to1024X768

two options:
1024X1118 (preserving width, adding height)
704X768 (preserving height, subtracting width)

5) resize the pic to 120X131.
6) Save image as BMP at 16-bit color depth

1) Select a picture to put on the phone.

2) Crop and edit the picture so that the aspect ratio is 120X131.
a) Load picture into Photoshop. We will use 1024X768 as an example.
b) Go to Image -> Canvas Size
c) Look at the width and height and note them.
d) Crop what you must keep and remove what you don't want.
e) Say you crop it to 250X187.
f) Select what background color you want to fill in if the picture doesn't take up the whole 120X131 screen (i.e., black for a dark background pic or white for a light background pic)
i) in the toolbox, you will see two overlapping squares. the square in the back is the background color
ii) click on the back square and select a color
iii) if you want black: you can type "0" (zero) in the R, G, B squares
iv) if you want white: you can type "255" in the R, G, B squares
v) or you can choose a custom color
f) Decide what you must preserve: the height or width.
i) if you decide to preserve width, go to step 3)
when to preserve width? example: side profile of a car, from bumper to bumper
ii) if you decide to preserve height, go to step 4)
when to preserve height? example: pic of a female model,
from head to waist
g) keep in mind: the closer you crop to the 120X131 aspect ratio, less work you have to do later. However, try to keep only what you want in the pic.

3) Maintain aspect ratio. You decide to preserve width.
a) Use your calculator:
take (width)*(131)/(120).
(using example from step 2e) 250*131/120 = 273
NOTE: it is width*height/width
b) so your width and height are: 250x273
c) in the Canvas Size, change the height to 273 (do not click 'OK' or hit <Enter> yet)
d) decide where you want the location of image to be: top, middle, or bottom of screen
i) top: click on the top arrow button. then click 'OK' or hit <Enter>
ii) middle: just click 'OK' or hit <Enter>
iii) bottom: click on the bottom arrow button. then click 'OK' or hit <Enter>

4) Maintain aspect ratio. You decide to preserve height.
a) Use your calculator:
take (height)*(120)/(131).
(using example from step 2e) 187*120/131 = 171
NOTE: it is height*width/height
b) so your width and height are: 171X187
c) in the Canvas Size, change the width to 171 (do not click 'OK' or hit <Enter> yet)
d) decide where you want the location of image to be: top, middle, or bottom of screen
i) top: click on the top arrow button. then click 'OK' or hit <Enter>
ii) middle: just click 'OK' or hit <Enter>
iii) bottom: click on the bottom arrow button. then click 'OK' or hit <Enter>

5) now that you have the correct aspect ratio, you should resize to 120x131
a) go to Image > Image Size
b) under Pixel Dimensions, enter the width and height that you obtained from either step 3 or step 4
c) make sure the "constrain proportions" option is enabled
d) click 'OK' or hit <Enter>

6) time to save the image.
a) Go to File -> Save As...
b) Choose BMP as the File Format.
c) Select a filename.
d) Click on the 'Save' button or hit <Enter>.
e) File Format: Windows, Depth: 16-bit depth. Choose 16-bit to save size. You won't notice the difference on the cell phone LCD between 16-bit and higher settings.

7) follow the instructions for Bitpim (I still prefer Bitpim v.62 modified for VX6000 over later generations of Bitpim)

Remember to play with all aspect ratio scenarios to get the best pic. You don't want too much blank screen in your wallpaper so playing with preserving either the width or height. And keep the aspect ratio in mind when you are cropping because you want
an easy image to work with. For example, you know you need a picture that is taller than wide.

scenario:

- you have a picture of a female model, from head to feet that is 1024X768
- you know you only want the head to the hips (you don't need the legs)
- You can simply crop from head to hips (this will create an extra wide pic)
- so since you cut her in half, the picture should be something like 1024X400
- use the canvas feature to autocrop the sides for you
- her height is 400 so her calculated width will be 366.
result: 366X400 (same aspect ratio as 120X131)
- resize to 120X131
- save as 16-bit BMP file

HOW TO FIX AN IMPROPER RATIO WALLPAPER (the picture looks stretched thin or fat)

1) load the image into photoshop
2) Resize the picture until the image looks correct. Make sure you turn off the "constrain proportions" when resizing improper aspect ratio pictures). However, turn it back on for everything else. (NOTE: photoshop has a great undo function).
3) after the image looks correct, use the canvas feature to make the pixel dimensions match the 120X131 aspect ratio (refer to steps #3 or #4 above)
4) then resize the image back to 120X131 (NOTE: "constrain proportions" is enabled here)
4) save the fixed image
