ive been looking for a new phone recently and have thought about getting either the p900 or the p910... ill mainly be using it for messaging, emails, light internet surfing, some mp3's a few videos, pda, and a phone... ive been looking at tmobile as a service provider but im not sure if ill be able to utilize the p900-910 to its full potential on their plans... if anyone has experience in the florida area or knows of any good plans that would allow me surf the web, send messages, and emails please let me know... also is there a AIM service or anything like that that i could get for the p900-910?? any information would help thanks

I live in the Tampa area and use T-mobile with my P900. Works great, I just have the $4.99 T-zone plan and am able to do all you the things you asked about.

Unlimited Internet = Tzones for 4.99 and Unlimited SMS is 9.99.

so the 15 dollars as opposed to what the guy at tmobile told me to get which was 29.99 (same thing as the sidekick plane but 10 bucks more) how is the reception on the p900 in florida? where did you get your phone from if you dont mine me asking... im still shopping for a good price... do you know if theres a AIM application for the p900? thanks again for everything

Reception is reallly good. I purchased my phone off the Buy/Sell/Trade forums on this board, it was used. I use agilemessenger for AIM, it's free and is really good.

i hate how tmobile tries to charge 30 when you can get all the same features except corprate email for half the price... well hopefully ill have the phone in a few weeks... im realy excited now. thanks for your help i really appreciate it.

i'm in orlando and i only use it as a phone!! reception is great. Also i have a whole sale license to get P900's and i also am thinking about selling mine, so send me an email if you need info.

Actually, I have no difficulty at all getting corporate email on T-Zones GPRS using the built in email client on my p900. Works like a charm.

On a side note, I called T-Mobile up a few weeks ago to complain about having been deceived into believing that I needed the $29.99 unlimited internet plan to do things on my phone like surf and get mail from my office server. The clerk readily admitted that none of the first line sales people are actually qualified to talk about the internet plans, that they give inconsistent information, and that they sometimes say things that aren't true. After about 30 minutes on the phone being pushy, T-Mobile agreed to refund 8 months of unlimited internet fees and put me on the unlimited T-Zones GPRS plan. Me. Like.

nice... so its official the 29.99 is a ×××× ripoff tell your friends, loved ones, and neighbors haha ******* tmobile... anyone think its really worth getting the 910 over the 900? or should ijust get the 900 and do the upgrade?
