hi, i need help picking a phone from tmobile. im renewing my contract and dont want to pay too much for a phone but am open to reasonable suggestions as long as the phone fits my requirements.
i dont want a camera on it.
i would prefer a flip phone but if there are better phones out there i dont mind.
i drop my phone every now and then.
dont really trust moto cuz i had the v60 and the reception was horrible.
i like to have a speaker phone, but if its weak then forget it.
i do want to use my phone as a dial up resource for my laptop.

i thought about the siemen but read that that phone is very cheap and might break easy. The 6800 looks good but i dont type that much on my phone. please give me some ideas, i've been trying to figure out which one to get for over a month now.

also one other question, why do they discontinue phones?
thanks

the 6800 might work for you. I would look at the e105 as well but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have speaker phone. Not wanting a camera on it limits your choices since most of their phones have cameras now. If you can get over the camera issue then I would recommend the e315 (although it still has no speaker phone) or the v300/v600. I know you said you don't trust them but you won't have a problem with reception with these phones, its actually really good. Thinking about it now, you could get the v180 if you will get a moto but I don't know the rf performance of it

personally I suggest nokia n-gage or qd
superior reception
loud speakerphone and ringing
I dropped several times and survived
connect to pc and pda with bt
or just 3660

i guess i can get over the camera part. but i dont know about the moto. is it really better? i mean i can have full reception with my nokia and have only one bar with my v60. but if u guys say moto is as good as it is...
i am also considering the e105 but that phone has been out for a while. wouldnt that mean they will discontinue the phone soon? and what does it mean to have the phone discontinued? how bout the v180, is that any good? thanks for your replies. it does help me a lot on narrowing down my choices.

oh and i dont wanna go to the nokia data phones cuz they are too big and not my definition of a cell phone. sorry if anyone disagrees
