the main difference I can spot is that the 8910 is digital only and the 8900 is trimode. anyone else?

the 8900 is a pretty good phone in my opinion. I guess that;s why you have all the messages about it. I am pretty happy with it. the camera and battery life is adequate. the speakerphone is not too useful.

the 9900 is an even better phone though. It;s trimode and has a camera with a flash. Verizon is selling it for 49$ for new activations.

so it;s got a flash. on verizon, they say it;s just digital so trimode must be carrier dependant.
