Hi all, I am sure it has annoyed many people that panasonic does not give away a bluetooth version of handset manager. They expect you to buy the bluetooth dongle and software directly from mobile action. I have spent a long time trying to get around this and finally found a way

Here's how you do it:
1) You need to download the USB version of handset manager from the panasonic website. You also need a bluetooth dongle with widcomm drivers installed.
2)In your windows device manager, make sure COM5 is free and unused.
3)In the bluetooth configuration utility provided by the widcomm driver, add a serial port service on COM5. You should see the bluetooth serial port in device added into the device manager.
4)Pair the x70 with your computer and install the dial-up modem service. When you get to select the port, choose COM5.
5) If you do not get to choose the port, then you can manually add the modem by using the modem configuration in the windows control panel. Choose to add a new modem, select 'choose modem from a list', then select the widcomm bluetooth modem. Be sure to install the modem at COM5. If the 'query modem' button works then you are successful.
6)Fire up handset manager and it should be able to connect!

this solution is ok and working.....but there is a little catch
I dont know if somebody noticed..but when I have in phone more
than (100-120pics)....the handset manager connects to phone ok...but for a few moments trys to reconnect...and this goes on and on..connect-reconnect...but when I have about 40-50 pictures the thig is working without any problem......

but the handset manag. is poor soft....some of solutions can be far more user friendly

PS: I cant find purpose of remote capturing with camera
but the function is uniqe
