Got the MPX220 email from Moto today just a couple of mins again.. It's not a purchase link it's a "get ready notification".

I guess somethings better than nothing.. I'm going to BB tomorrow to see if they released the phone on the 8th or 9th.

I get a good AT&T company discount but the cingular discount is not as good. I can't get anyone to tell me how this is going to work during the merger.

You have to purchase the phone through AT&T to get the free headset!

The interesting thing about this notification email from Motorola is that it is saying ATTWS and not Cingular. Some of the rumors floating around say that the phone is only going to be exclusive to Best Buy (on Cingular) for a month and it won't release on ATTWS until mid November.

I am having trouble believing that Motorola would be sending out these emails with ATTWS logo pasted on there unless the ATTWS release is fairly imminent.

There are 512Meg mini-sd cards at ecost (EP@ $61.24
and ATP - 60x speed @ $129.99), I bought the EP memory card 2 weeks ago.

I'm stuck on the Jabra Bluetooth headsets so I'm a don't care almost for the free offer. Cingular and AT&T are the same company starting Oct 1st but final mergers of tech are hopeful for Nov 1st. Can't tell if the discount applies..

O well we'll see..
