any chance of a soud effect ring tone? I really want the Red alert sound from Star Trek as my ring. I tried a wav to midi converter, and it was really really bad.

I can play the file just fine with windows media player, but when I try to install it to the phone, it says unreconized format.

Is this just a wav with the extension changed to .mid?

Try this one. I took the above file, and looped it to make it 30 seconds, and saved it as a MP3, then renamed it to a .mid

It works on my phone..

file uploads to howards are limited in size to 15k or less

3 blasts of the alert way came to 12.5k before i zipped it

I could have made it REPEAT enough to go 30 seconds or even longer but i wouldn't have been able to upload the file
