Ok i was lookinv over the dimensions between the 8290 and 8390 and the 8290 isonly .1'' longer a few incher wider and a little thichker....so i was owundering would it be possible to put a 8290 faceplate on a 8390???!?!?
the only real problem i see would be kaypad placement and a little extra space on the 8390 since it is a LITTLE smaller than the 8290 so would it be a problem to fit a 8390 in a 8290 faceplate???
BTW: I really appreciate all the help ive been getting around the forums here...

The way the faceplate goes on the 8390 is totally different than the 8290. Unfortunately, it cannot be done.

just get a 8290 they are like so cheap nowadays.....
