P900 Virtual Keyboard

Ive had my P900 for 4 months now and i reckon its a really good fone/oragniser. I just have one small problem with the virtual keyboard though.
I often use the virtual keyboard to txt msg, enter a contact or make some notes. However, recently ive run into some problems. When i click the icon at the bottom to use it, the icon fades in and then nothing happens until i click something else.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? Soz bout this but i havent had time to use a search option yet.
Any help would be appreciated

Oh well.......ill stick to the crappy old flip keyboard until i can get this problem fixed. Arghh its annoying for me not to have the virtual keyboard
Anyways thanxs for takin a look 
Oh yea, btw how long do ur P900 battery last? I swear that my battery life is decreasing 
or maybe its just me?
