hi there,
a friend told me about a program that runs and changes themes for 7650 ,3650 , n-gage phones, its name is ( Palm Crust ).
i've searched the net net but i didn't find it.
does anybody knows anythimg about this program ? where to get it,does it really do that , any reviews , let's search for it.

ya man , i've searched google and yahoo , but nothing , but my friend insistes that is present , and he told me that it has xp theme , metal theme , ..... and other themes.
but unfortuntly he hasn't the source of the file so i can have it and try it.

we were chatting and exchanging experiences about mobiles , then i told him the annoying thing in the 3650 and the n-gage is the incompatibility with themes , just i've finished the sentence , he told me in less than a second that program , i don't think he is lying bro

well there is a program which permits to change themes, but its not finished yet afaik~

why dont u ask your friend to show it to u?

this is, i'm assuming, the software that he's referring to, but as far as I can tell, they don' t have anything that will do themes on a 3650, etc. It looks like a bunch of J2ME games...

I do remember seeing something awhile back that promised themes for the 3650. I forgot what it was called but when it was released everybody said not to install it because all it did was make the phone really SLOW. If I remember the name Ill post back.

The best alternitive is Launcher. Its a theme for you menu, but not your standby screen or your "desktop" But either way, its the best youve got.

And also, there was something called Pallete Extender which allowed you to use some more colors instead of just blue green and red I think... you got purple, orange, and a few otheres...

Yeah, that sounds right.

I thought it was the actual release I remember seeing, but I guess it could have been some kind of a beta.... Either way, I didnt read anything good about it. Just lots of people complaining on the app.

The only program that I know of that will allow themes on the 3650 is by Trigenix. Unfortunately, they no longer offer to the public but only through carriers which at this time is on ly T-Mobile UK's ScreenStyles. I tried it on the N-Gage but it didn't work. If anyone is interested I think I still have the original files from when I tested the app, but it only works on the 3650.

No harm done... guess the power of pink isn't that noticeable!! Lol, in any case... I do have the sis file for Trigplayer, however, I deleted my whole 3650 sis file folder from my pc (ARGH!!!) I also have Screen Styles which is the same as Trigplayer. It happens to be the program used by T-Mobile UK. I will check on my other pc to see if the sis files are on there, but if anyone wants to you can also search the net, or contact Trigenix on their website. At this time there are no longer offering the beta ui's though. I'll try my best to find the ones that I had so please be patient. If anyone wants to host the files for me lemme know.

a friend gave me a copy of the file , i installed it but when i try to run the prog it gaves me an error message saying that no user interface available, so i used seleQ to browse the phone and i found a folder for the prog containing a defaultui.jar file ( default user interface ) but it tells me that the file is corrupted , i tried reinstalling the prog but no way , what's wrong and from where can i get new ui ?

all the programs that ppl use for themes on 3650 or ngage lag the phone like mad, and the themes are crap

even with my 6600 i dont use themes cause it laggs the phone

i'm just wanna change the mobile view as i use it too much , u know only some sort of change

I heard about a program called syscion or something like that. Its suppose to be able to make themes for the ngage.

but trigbuilder with trigplayer will make it really great , it actually runs its themes on the 3650 and the n-gage , it deserves the effort of searching for it , it is strongly recommended. i have trigplayer but i don't have the trigbuilder which will make the trigplayer work , it is a must, i am still searching , i hope i can get it.

The trigbuilder isn't what makes the trigplayer work. It's the trigs (which I'm still searchin for). I CANT BELIEVE I DELETED MY FOLDER!!! ARRRGGGGHH!! Lol, the Trigbuilder is to build your own trigs from scratch. I sent an email to the developer and hopefully she'll remember me and send me the basic trigs.

No, only the 3650 and I think that Siemans phone. I'm not sure but the compatibilty might be on Trigenix's website.

Ok on an easier note... One might want to try T-Mobile UK's website. Now this may sound retarded, but the first provider to utilize the Trigenix 3GLab software was T-Mobile. Their licensed version which is "ScreenStyles" is offered in the UK. I purchased a T-MO UK sim and got top-up vouchers from ebay and installed them via T-Zones. Yeah it costs a quite a bit (thats why I'm so pissed for deleting that file!!!) but the themes are amazing.

And where can one get the sis files from? There's no option for a demo or for a chance to buy it.

Yah, I want it bad, too. The default N-Gage QD screens/icons are U-G-L-Y. I think they had a colorblind epileptic throw darts at a color wheel to make the color schemes.

Of course if this is the worst thing I have to say about the N-Gage QD.....
