HI guys, I'm a newb and need some help.
I've search HF and no direct answers.
I'm trying to get rid of the "fido" logo from my 3120b. I have the DKU-5 cable and my phone is not wap enabled.
Please walk me through this.

you will need mobimb program that will connect your pc to your phone......im not the best at this cause i use wap for everything.

all i know is that the mobimb should be installed and then the phone cnnected and im lost from there......you can d/l the op logo from tons of sites........find a wap emulator......like"ttemulator"(google that) and got to acegames.....the link for acegames is on these forums....search for that and youll get the op logo on the pc and then connect phone and open mobimb and install it.......but like i said thats all i know and i cant do anything else sorry....good luck.

hey Lambros I have the same phone as you but I couldnt get the logo to change from following that website. I used the data cable and mobimb as shown...right clicked and hit "use as > operator logo" but still did not work. help?

im having the same problem... is there a way around this?.. and yes my phone is unlocked as well...

wat fone are u using?? sometimes is the cable problem, u need to get the rite cable first b4 any of these will work!!

I've tried on nokia 6610 (DKU-5), nokia 3108 (DKU-5) and nokia 6230 (DKU-2) and all of them works fine!!

I know I'm using the right cable...the dku-5, I've been transfering images, ringtones, applications, etc fine but I can't get this dang blank op logo to work

u need to put the blank_logo.gif onto the fone first.........and then use MobiMB to set as Operator logo. try turning operator logo on from ur fone first and then try it again.

^yes....once it is on the phone, then you can set it for the op logo.

I've tried on nokia 6610 (DKU-5), nokia 3108 (DKU-5) and nokia 6230 (DKU-2) and all of them works fine!!

my phone is the nokia 3120b and im using the DKU-5 cable... when i use mobimb i right click on the blank logo and set it as operator logo and then reset my phone... and nothing it still has "Fido" on it... -_-

yep still having the same problem as you, when i right click on the blanklogo.gif and set as op logo...nothing happens.

BUT i typed in the address to get the blanklogo.nol on my wap and it worked. the weird thing is after i plugged in my phone to the pc and sync it, and when i unplugged it the file is gone!! i'm like wtf at this moment.

Trying to do the same via IRDA using MobiMB. The blank logo is saved on the phone under the Graphics folder (6230b w/ Cingular), but MobiMB does not see it?

Any ideas?

i haven't tried with my nokia 6230 yet......cause my infrared is broken, i think 6230 uses the DKU-2 but i don't hav tat

. mayb u need a data cable to put it on the fone!! instead of a infrared. (try this out if anyone hav a DKU-2 cable)
