I recently got an AT&T T68i phone unlocked but have been unable to browse the internet using Fido.I did a search in the forums and came across something about losing browser abilities when the T68i phone becomes unlocked.Is this true or has it something to do with my settings? Would a master reset restore my wap browser or would I have to get the phone flashed?
Although I'm sure I won't be doing much browsing the internet on the cell phone I do wish I have the capability in my phone and didn't lose it when my phone got unlocked.Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks for helping dkny_boi but I'm not clear where I should enter those settings. Would it be under Connect or Web Services in the Menu? Right now I have it setup under both and the display says connecting then switches to loading but doesn't go beyond that.Perhaps I have too many profiles setup and its confusing the phone not to mention me.

under connect -> data comm. -> data accounts set up the GPRS account (for WAP)

Insert all the settings but still get loading on the display. When I end it, display reads bytes sent but none received. Perhaps Fido hasn't set me up on internet yet even though they said they would in an instant. Will check with them tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks for helping dkny.

if your GPRS IS enabled (mine was w/in a minute or two of calling them) then there will be a long blue triangular-like symbol directly above ur reception indicator meaning u have access to GPRS

if it's jus a sideways blue "L"

like that above ur reception, then your GPRS is setup thru fido, just ur fone isn't "accessing it" i guess. the only way i've figured to solve that is restart the phone, then it should fill out to a triangle and you'll have access.

I checked with Fido and on my phone and it is GPRS enabled . I've inserted and reinserted the settings posted in the fido forum and I will get a "connecting" then a "loading" that just lingers forever until it says timeout .I've called support and they gave me the same settings that are in the forums to no avail. I'm just going to forget about it and just stick to surfing on the computer.Thanks for the help, it was still appreciated.

It sounds like you are not inputting the WAP settings. These can be found in Web Profiles->Options->WAP Profiles. There are two seperated settings that have to be entered to browse, WAP and Data. It sounds like you have the data settings in right, but now you need to find the WAP profile settings.
