I've had to change the screen in my t630 because it was cracked. No problems getting the case off - but I have a problem .

When I removed the old screen I STUPIDLY neglected to loosen the clip holding the connecting wire. As I removed the old screen, I've pulled too hard and the connection on the phone appears to be damaged - the new screen won't fire up properly (it's very dark or doesn't appear at all). I guess because the connection at the phone is too loose.

Any suggestions as to making this a tighter connection or *gulp* what's the damage replacing this part and suggestions as to where in the London area?

Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. I was searching for a case or screen protector just now and ran across this link to genuine SE parts (LCD). Lucky for you it seems to be based in the UK
