i just traded my old phone in and picked up a sanyo 8100 and was wondering about data transfer using a cable. first of all, all i could find on ebay is the usb cable... im assuming there is no serial cable then? (does this mean i use usb cable to unlock, or is unlocking impossible, or DO serial cables actually exist for this phone?) and secondly, can u transfer ANY file type on to the phone (games and apps?) finally, anyone kno sites with patches for this phone? and once again, is it possible to patch with a usb cable? k hope to read lots of extremely informative replies

Hey I too would like info for a scp-8100(s), I just ordered the usb cable for it, and I want to activate it on the aliant network -

As far as I know you cant use any Sanyos on any other network but Sprints. Data cable wise I use Data Pilot
