GD87 switching off

Ben told the reason my phone keeps switching off i due to a software upgrade i havent got, is this right and if so where do I get it?

Just got my GD87, experiencing the same problem, but mine is still locked to Orange, not AT&T, which I have. I hope the power issue will resolve itself once I unlock the phone, we'll see what happens.
