im having a problem getting my phone into headset profile with my bt headset paired. I see the headset icon but it stays in normal Profile.

Do you have this problem?

Same problem with MPx220

Happened to me too. The only thing i can recommend is to back up everything important [copy to your desktop on your PC] and do a master reset [power off the phone and then turn on, right then press and hold the middle action/blue button, it'll ask you whether to reset or not, press YES].

After doing that you had the headset profile with a BT headset? It's always been on normal for me, figured that was how it was supposed to be for some odd reason.

I have the same problem. What is the advantage of having the right profile identified?

The headset porfile will only display when there is a hard wired headset plugged into the 220. The BT headset will display the current display and that is the way it should be.

You want the BT to mimick your current profile becasue it might not always be on your ear. If you have the normal headset plugged in, they are supposing that you are connected.

That is not an error.... but then again, this is just my opinion and it is the same way with my V600 and the V80.....
