Recieving Photos with G4020 ??

Well, i just got a G4020 and i got my friend to take a photo of something so i can set it up as my wallpaper. He sent it, but it never came. He had the right # and everything. Are photos not compatible with G4020s?
Also, if the photo thing doesn't work, i'd like to make my own wallpaper from a picture i found on the net. How would i do that ?
