Well a while ago I got that whole bitpim data acble stuff to work and was able to put mp3's onto my vx6000 without problems. I never used to change the frequencies or anything like that. My couzin who has the same phone suddenly got a problem where we were able to upload the song and the name would be in the music (menu > 7 > 2) section but would not play. I never thought much of this because my phone still worked, but now it's happening to me and I have no clue how to fix it. I know it's not the size of the file that is the problem because I've even tried tiny 2 second long mp3's when I used to have a minute and a half song. I've seen this problem posted in various forums but always disreguarded. Please help me out here guys.

It could be that you have TOO many songs on your phone.
If you go over 21 songs, the other ones will either not show up (even though they are on your phone) or not play.
So make sure you always keep it under 20 songs, and you should be okay.
Also, try restarting your phone. Alot of times, when your memory gets full, you just need a good restart for the phone to start working normal again.

I already deleted all the songs from my phone, but if you mean deleting the default midi ringers that come with the phone then I'm not really sure how to do that. Otherwise I only have those stock ringers.
