Hi, I bought a nec 525 from the states, got it unlocked and now it's working perfectly. But I was wondering if there's any way to make mmode work, I tried alot of different things, can't figure it out, mms and e-mail aren't working either. Can anyone help?

I'm from montreal using Rogers.

since you said "the states" i will assume you are in mexico. haha... canada.

now mmode is just a name that AT&T uses for their mobile internet service that is kind of a name adaptation of docomo's (an at&t partner) i-mode (not related however).

neither roger's or fido operate on wap 2.0 as at&t does, therefore you will not be able to get mmode to work.

the only way to xsfer files is by USB cable or IrDA, however IrDA only seems to work with other NEC mobiles

Ok, that's what I thought, so I should stop hurting my head trying to figure it out.

I ordered the usb wire so that will do. Thanks for the help.
