I need to get a new case for my SE47 Slider after I droped it and steped on it. Who has the best prices/fit on a new one? I just want the stock look/color,nothing fancy or flashy.

I hope I'm missing the case on the website you listed snafu cause I don't see it. Please post details if I am. I'm looking for the OEM case/cover/shell for the phone that is part of the phone not a carring case. Not a case/holster to carry or protect the phone.

I was thinking leather case too... you mean "housing" Anyway, I don't know if the OEM one is available but you can get plain silver ones off eBay for pretty cheap.

I made a thread on this a while ago. The cases I found are only 13.99 and a great quality too!!! for a large selection visit www.daydeals.com and for a smaller selection, for only 13.99 visit www.cellphoneshop.com

Thank you for the websites to get them sliderdude. I'm concerd after this note on one of the websites you listed though.

Installation of full housing is more difficult and should be performed by an experienced technician. At this time, no instructions or technical support is available for this housing installation. By ordering this faceplate, you understand you or your designated installer will be installing the faceplate at your own risk. DayDeal, Inc. is not responsible for damage to the phone during or after installation.

How bad was it sliderdude? It also looks like they only sell the front houseing. Does it come with the back side to match? Are batteries avalible to match some of the colors?

Does it take any certain tools to do it also?

Well, It took me five mintets to change mine and my phone works great! You might be looking at faceplates if it only shows the front. Also if you were looking at the houseings, it shows that matching batterys are available but you have to pay about 10 more bucks. If you get silver, then you obviously don't need a new battery. To go to houseings click on this http://daydeals.com/home.php?cat=64 . Oh, it dosen't show the back on the photos, my bad..........It comes with the entire houseing!!!

Thank you for the info...but I have to ask again: Does it take any certain tools to do it like this one?

You don't need those tools, only a Trox screwdriver (an itty-bitty one) that can be bought at a hardware store. Just take the battery off and look for the little black screws... those are the size you need. I think you also need a very small Philips one. I assume you have looked over the takeapaprt walkthrough. I'd also suggest reading my thread on housing replacement lessons learned.

Great info! Thank you. Now I have to deside if I still want the OEM color with sooo many to pick from...Black with chrome seems nice.
