I suck at life so i can't say that im any good at making wallpapers cuz im computer/phone illiterate but thats ok. but thought id make a thread for people like me that are too retarted to resize pictures to the external screen of the phone...
so if people could, could we post some pictures in the size of the external display ..

how do u put those on the xternal screen??? in settings i dont see any option that says external screen wallpapers..

ok im still quite retarted, how do i get the external wallpapers into the program, i can't open the wallpaper program through windows cuz i dont know what program to open it with, can somebody please help me

Ok you must be retarded.. ok check it out.. you download the program.. you extract it (using winrar or winzip or whatever you use)
Then you run the program..
It should bring up a window with a white empty box, and 4 buttons to click on the right side..
The first button is add wallpaper..
click on it and browse your pc for where ever you saved the extrenal wallpapers that you downloaded from here..
button 2... Generate wal...
click on it and it should convert your wallpapers..
button 3.. Generate Jar...
click on it there will open a dos window and create the jar file... DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW and DO NOT CLICK ON BUTTON 4! This window will close on its own and then you will be able to click on button 4.. it may take a few moments and it may not. just depends on your system.. just let the window close on its own and your all set.
button 4... Generate JAL.. click on this button and again a dos window will pop up most likely so briefly that you wont even see it.. when it is done..
just open your favorite JAL loading proggie whether it is webjal or M Y JAL click on load j2me programs and double click on your jal file and let it roll after that goto your java apps on your phone
install your extwall paper proggie and then run it
click on select wallpaper and pic your paper.. I suggest only adding 3 to 4 wallpapers on the program at a time due to load times with anything with more.. I will be releasing multiple jar/jad combos with 4 wallpapers at a time for those of you mentally challanged enough that STILL cant figure out how to use this so VERY easy to use program!
PS..
I fixed my rar'd link to my external collection sorry my bust.. pathed it to the wrong file.

Ok folks here ya go.. for those of you that cant seem to figure out how to use the proggie.. here is my personally created collection of extrenal wallpapers.. some of them are pretty dark.. personally I ××××ING HATE the outside screen on this phone.. the quality is absolutily CRAP.. but hey these screens help a little..
BTW this extwall.jar/jad was done with the new version 2.01 of the extrenal wallpaper app that was just released a few days ago on idenstop.com so go lookin fer it.. check out the new options..

alright maybe i phrased that the wrong way..i d/l'ed the external wallpaper program..unzipped it..i have 2 icons..one is a program (.jad) (that i can't open) the other was a premade wallpaper .jar that i uploaded to my phone...(GREAT)..but because i can't open the program i can't make my own wallpapers..when i open the .jad file it says "to open this file windows needs to know what program created it"..so i can't get into that file...thats what i need to solve

when you got the program.. if you got it from the correct source.. you should have had 1 folder in the zip file.
when you extracted that folder to your hdd.. you should have had a hand full of other folders and 1 .exe file
the .exe file is what you run in windows to create your own jar/jad files

I am trying to use the external app for the I860 the way it said to do it on the site but it is not working for me. I get a runtime 53 error. I dled the program and the scripten.zip file the registry.zip, comctl32.ocx, and comcdlg32.ocx files. How do I replace the programs in the registry...Am I supposed to?...I have no idea how to do it. I really need step by baby step instructions in how to do this. I have searched the forums but nothing is helping me...Please help me....I've been working on this for 3 days now

By the way everyone if you know how to post on the web, you should know how to resize pictures. I use nothing but Microsoft Paint to shrink the pic and then I use the Office Picture Manager to convert it to PNG GIF JPG, whatever. It's stupidly easy.
I made this one is 40 seconds flat.
