I looking to switch from NEXTEL to sprint within the next week or so. I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages were to these two phones. I have heard many great things about the VM4500, but $200 is a little more than I had hoped to spend. The PM-8200 is only $100, but I want a good phone. Can anybody please share your experiences with these two phones with me? Just trying to gather info to help me make the right choice. Thanks.

finest phone on the market, bar none...I wd recommend this one if you can scrape anopther 100 together...8200 is a fine phone but the 4500 beats all..just my opinion..we have two of them and delighted with its many features...hope this helps you

I actually traded my 5500 in for a 8200. 5500 is better feature-wise except for the brightness, but I kept having so many problems with that phone. First time I got it, it kept turning off when I clapped it shut. And the second time around, nobody could hear me on it. But if I had one that worked, I guess it would be better. It definitely looks cooler.

You may want to wait a little while (if you can) for the MM7400 - MM7400 from Phone Scoop
