I've got the free wap,mp3 ringtones, banner is off, camera shutter sound is off, good wallpaper. My question to the guru's of the 8900 is there anything else i can tinker around with? to make my cell phone better?

I have Verizon. On my phone, you hit left button to open up the web, it opens, then at the top left of the screen there is a little box with some symbol and turquoise down arrow. highlight that box and click the ok button on your phone. scroll down, click on settings, then click on homepage. then type in your homepage. search the forums for how to create your own mobile webpage with links using winksite.

Yeah, it works. They tell you how to do it on one of these forums. It's not hard. You gotta get an IP address and a port number and put them in your phone. They tell you how to do it on one of these forums.

I tried but it will not let me change my homepage for some reason.

1. Enter ##2769737 END
2. Press 1
3. Press 1
4. Press 1
5. Press 129 [SND] 123 [SND] 17 [SND] 148 [OK]
6. Press 2
7. Press 9201
8. Press 3
9. Press 129 [SND] 123 [SND] 17 [SND] 148 [OK]
10. Press 4
11. Press 9201
12. Restart your phone.
13. Enter the web.
14. Hold down 0 until "Alert Box (Empty)" shows (or at least the openwave logo)
15. Press the up arrow, then [OK]
16. Press 9
17. Press 1
18. Enter http://wap.google.com (no caps at all)
19. press [OK]

It should take you to the google site. If it doesnt follow these steps:

1. From anywhere inside the browser hold down 0
2. Click the openwave logo
3. Press 9, then 2
4. Press 1.
5. Repeat from step 14.
