Interestingly enough though the website lists each phone series; Under Mpx it lists the mpx (aka mpx300), mpx200, mpx220 and mpx260. It looks like Germany won't be getting the mpx100.

I picked up a 260 at Besten Buybraten. I had to return it. The volume was way too loud, it didn't squeak at all and everyone could hear me. Oh well, I'll wait til the store over on Friederickstrassen gets the updated ROM.

I don't know. But is this why the RF and audio on the V600 is just as good as the V500 that's just as good as the V400 that's just as good as the V3 that's just as good as the V220 that's just as good as the mpx220 that's just as good as the.....

Funny, but in the V3 review thread, I thought BB clearly stated that he paid for his Motorola phones. He was also extremely critical of the address book functions on that phone and (this is from memory) said the best RF he's had recently is on an SE phone.

Why would he say the phone was perfect? Of course there are going to be a few flaws...even moto knows this. I don't have any facts and BB has yet to comment on the subject...but put 2 and 2 together...he is obviously getting a check from moto for something. Maybe he is just a good photographer so they used his photos...who knows.

It is also obvious that BB took the pictures orginally since not only does he have the ones from Moto's germany site, but he has some with knifes next to the phone, etc.

Since i just got here in Sept...I would not have known. Very mature of you to call names when its obvious someone is using someone else pictures. Are you saying, that they are using your pictures without authorization? Im just trying to find out whats up.

How am I calling your reputation into question? Is there a problem with you working for moto and reviewing phones? Im not the first to question your motive for the reviews and im just repeating what others have said first as they have not been answered. Whether you want to displace the rumors or not is up to you...I could care less.

Don't put words into my mouth that I didn't type. "Shill" has and will never be seen in a post of mine. If you think im sorry or even should be by questioning your employment with moto, you have no grounds to deserve such.

I also find it ironic that you mention civil conversation while chanting "idiot" like a 9 year old in your previous post.

If there is only thing im sorry for, the ONLY thing id be sorry for, is if this query came off as an "unappreciative BB bash." If that is the case, then you have me pegged dead wrong. I love the reviews you post and find them very informative regardless of their motive. Ill be honest, Id love to have a job where one of the leading cell phone manufactures sends me the latest and greatest before everyone else and I get to talk about it.

There is obviously some history to this exact topic. Im new here, and am unaware of it. My big thing is that instead of "enlightening" me on the facts, you come swinging with the personal attacks. You seem to dance around the subject and I find that odd. Maybe b/c its been brought up before and your tired of it. I dunno...

I don't know how anyone could read the above statement as anything other than you CONFIRMING what others have suggested.

In fact you go further and add your own statement that he is paid by Motorola.

In what way is this not an attack on this reputation and credibility.

When asked for proof, you justify that he has not responded so therefore it must be true.

I don't like the world you live in. I would rather you not make such statements without at least spending some time doing some research.

As a newb, you have nothing invested in the board - where bengalboy has spent years building a name and reputation.

I already stated I have no evidence. No where do I say that just b/c he hasn't denied such, it is true...nice assumptions from yourself there. Obviously, BB is done with the issue. I am a newb here, but IMO respect is not a right...you have to gain it, he has shown to be undeserving of an apology and I have nothing further to say.

I read all of BB reviews too and I think they are very good but I would like to know if you work for Motorola too because if you did It would be good to know that and take it into consideration.
I only see a couple possibilities and I don't know why anyone hasn't answered them.

1 Motorola stole BB pics
2 BB stole Motorolas pics (or used them with their permission)
3 BB works for Motorola

I don't want to get in between the war with BB and Swami
and whatever the answer your reviews are still very good BB but if your considering buying a phone on BB word (eg. MPX-220) it would be good to know if he is employed by Motorola.

i dont think BB steals anything or works for motorola. i remember seeing a post BB had a while ago in the moto forum where he sued Motorola for something to do with the v70 and moto decided to settle. maybe receiving free phones for 10 years was part of the settlement? anyways i need to figure out where BB lives so i can camp out in front of his house and steal the phones the fedex lady leaves him

From my view Bengal Boy is a total gadget freak that is fortunately enough to have the ability and financial means to enjoy his interest or hobby. I don't care for the accusations or insinuations and what could be considered personal attacks. If your jealous say so, if you don't like his reviews tell him how to improve them. If you can't stand that he gets the hottest toys many months before they get to market, win the lotto, make some new friends and maybe you too can enjoy the good life.

I find his reviews and knowledge helpful I feel the MPX220 brings to me what I need and his initial reviews solidified that. The other obvious comment I can make about his responses or lack their of at times is, (a) he is too busy to bother with lame posts and (b) have you seen Amy, I mean come one would you want to post back to someone or be with Amy (if you were him).

So take a friggin chill pill and relax. Obviously pictures can be stolen and posted anywhere. Unlike major corporations BB doesn't have time to roam the net and look for stolen pics and info.

Oh and no I don't work fo Moto, the Chinese Gov't or Bengal Boy but I sure do appreciate what he brings to the table.

I buy my phones, or devices....test them, and either keep them for my personal use or sell them. A person or member who knows me or did just a cursory investigation on this Board would know that. I review alot of different companies devices and accessories.....do I work for them as well??

I'm not controlling any of your minds here...just enjoying my hobby...unfortunately,,,people and sites steal my photos regularly...guess I take a good photo. As for Swami...he has more than just one talent for uncovering "conspiracies of mind control".....he can also talk out of his a.s.s. as well...

I never said you were trying to "mind control" us...I was just curious. In my previous posts I mention that I thought that your reviews were very informative regardless of their motive. I also stated before you even replied that I was making assumptions. If you look at that unedited post above, you'll notice I emphasized the a$$ as that old saying comes to mind "Making assumptions makes an a$$ out of you and I" I never was that serious about my statments.

I made a mistake, and I can admit that. Im sure you must understand why Ive been so stuborn to apologize as your first reply was a chanting personal attack. I doubt you would apologize for a mistake if the first conversation with someone was a slue of name calling. I think your initial reaction would have been more like mine, the middle finger. I know I didn't come out and say it, ×××× off, but that was basically my reaction.

I don't think we will ever see eye to eye, but I will come out to say that I am sorry for implying that you worked for moto. I still think threats and name calling is childish, but to each his own. To strive for peace on this board, once again, I am sorry.
