L1400 message tones HELP!!!

i just recently got an L1400 with cingular, whereas i work for verizon so i fully understand how they work i decided it was time to go to another cell provider.
however the capabilities of personalizing the message tones are quite sparse on the L1400, with the vx4500 i had i could put what ever. any help is appretiated!!
also another question is the ability to assign ringtones to an individual, instead of just a group. if anyone knows how to do that with this phone please let me know!!! thanks in advance.
