I am allowing Windows to search for the driver and have also tried to pointing it to the drivers on the CD that came with the phone. It never finds a driver! The CD contains a file called 'USBMDM.INF' but it doesn't work. I reluctantly decided to call AT&T about the problem but they were unable to help. They didn't have any information about the drivers because the phone is new. If anyone has gotten this to work or has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks! |

You have to purchase seperate data plans for tethering. I'm in the same position...I just have the mMode plan. The thing is, without having a seperate data plan, I have no idea how much they will charge for the usage. GPRS is pretty slow so I doubt I will use very much anyways. I'd consider paying for it if the phone had EDGE or UMTS. |
