Howdy,
I posted a review in a German forum a week and a half ago...(http://www.telefon-treff.de)
You'll find some pics here:
http://www.pixum.de/members/hdreher...ed74903c6081fa2
I'll tell you folks a few things about the phone...
Hardware
Well the finish is actually really good (like that of the v66), the housing is plastic but still gives you a quality feeling. The only disapointing part is the battery cover it is very thin and can be pushed in a bit when attached to the mobile...The keys are spaced well nad work fine.
The phone comes with a travel charger, one battery, silver housing, retail is Germany T-mobile GSM Dualband (1800/900)
Features
The display is much better than that of the S/E t68 or t68i, though its not as bright and brilliant in its colors as the Nokia 7650 and its at least as good as the Samsung T100 or S100...
It is none refelctive but can be read well even in bright sunlight.
The resolution is 120x160 ; 4096 colors (the display shows 8 lines for massages); Pictures need to be in gif. format no bigger than 11k.
It has an inbuild email client and whats even better (since imode just started in Germany) the wap browser can show imode pages...
Drawbacks are: there is no IRDA or Bluetooth and no working Truesync Software available yet...
The version we have here in Germany can be updated in November to MMS and a plug on camera....
The menue is much easier compared to former motorola handsets...(finally - for all you Nokia fans out there)
The Java games have an amazing quality...and even the polyphonic ringtones are quite nice...If any of you can get a hold of the phone: you'll find some downloadable pics and tones here: (through wap download) http://wap2-info.de/moti/index.html
BTW the antenna is much smaller than the pics I seen from the CDMA version (smaller than that of the v70, v60 or v66)
This is my first review in ''all'' English...so I might not have covered every little detail...Just feel free to ask...
Greetings

Well Done!
A few questions though.
1. How is the RF compared to any other phones you have used?
2. can you take some pictures of the new menu system?
3. Some of the new polyphonic phones don't have "normal" ringtones, does this one? (I know the A500 from Samsung does not!)
4. How long are you getting from battery?
Thanks, and nice review!

1. It is a very stylish mobile combined with great functionallity, excelent reception and very acoustics...sa mentioned drawbacks are the the conectivity...
2. The cam odesnt belong to me but I will see if I can get more pics...The menue is still Motorola like its just a lot more comfortable with the ''large'' screen (compared to th e.g. v70), so it seems to be alot more logic...
3.
It does have ''normal'' ringtones as well! Actally quite a few...
4. Well its niot really an improtant factor to me since there are plugs around all over and I can recharge every night: I'd say the battery lasts for to2 to 21/2 days if always on...considering it has a color display its not bad... (the Nokia 7650 didnt last longer)

looks like a rebadged OEM phone. I swear I saw this in the korean market.

If you tell me what sar settings are/is I'll try to help...
Posted by: myooran79
sorry, SAR stands for...well not really sure what it stands for but it is the radiation rating given to each phone. lower the better. I think the upper limit for safety is 2.0 (not sure of the units off hand). something manufacturer wouls have published somewhere. SAR supposed to be suggestive of risk of brain cancer. not really sure how true this is, but with my chronic mobile phone usage I have pledged to either buy a phone with handsfree or with low-ish SAR. I have noticed that phoen with notoriously high SAR (T28 and T39) have given me a few headaches after long use. not sure if you worry about these kind of things, but i'm only young and so want to be prudent.
am envious of you (having seen and used T720) and am counting the days now....

1) does the alarmclock ring when the phone is shut off?
2) is there a counter of how much data you trasferred through GPRS?
3) is it possible to read SMS on outer display?
4) how much does a cabel for this phone cost?
5) can you transfer JAVA app. over this cable or is it possible only OTA?
6) how much of memory is avaiable for the applications, pictures and so on?
thax a lot
