$250 or Below...Which Phone To Get?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I recently sold my Sidekick II (It was just too big, I never got used to it)...and I'm looking to buy a new phone within the next week.

I only want to spend $250, the max and here are my choices...

-Motorola MPX200 ($180-$225 on eBay)

-Sony Z600 ($230 from howardforums.com)

-Sony T630 ($230 from howardforums.com)

-Nokia 7210 ($175-$200 on eBay or eXpansys)

-Nokia 6820 ($150-$200 on eBay)

Those are my choices. I heard about the bad reception with the MPx200, but I played with a friend's before and loved it. The size was good, the feel was solid, and the Smartphone 2002 was very nice. What do you think?

I had the Sony T616 before and liked it a lot, but I really like the design for the T620 (the buttons are a nice change) and the Z600. I don't care whether it's a flip or not.

I always loved the style of the 7210, but it's old school, so I don't know if it will be worth it.

The 6820 is very nice. I do text message a bit and email a lot, so this might be perfect, but I heard the build quaility wasn't that great. I tried to play with one at ATT, but they didn't have it. What do you guys think?

I need to stop buying phones...I'm getting addicted.

I'd get a 6820 or try to find a cheap samsung e600/s300 or if you like the 7210 then maybe you could look at the 7250i

avoid
T630 (just T610+TFT, pretty ugly RF)
6820 (what the ???? it often drops both voice and data connection?!)
you said you like T616, get T637, Z600 should be good too

I'm really considering getting the MPx200, even though I've read many negative things on the board, but there are positive reviews as well.

I'm looking for a phone with solid PIM functions and the MPx200 does deliver.

I'm not really interested in the 7250i.

I had a s307 before. The size was great, but the screen was too small for my taste. I'm not too keen for Samsungs...they all look the same.

How's the battery life and reception on yours?

I finally made a decision. I narrowed it down between the T637, MPx200, and the 7210.

The T637 might of been too similar to my old T616.

The MPx200's reception worries me, so I went with a phone I always wanted...the Nokia 7210.

It was also the cheapest out of the bunch. Thanks for the suggestions, though.
