I have a Sanyo 5150 software 1.106SP Hardware 0000 if that will help you out the problem is when I check my voice mail the phone display locks up it just says the number at the bottom of the screen no timer and I can’t erase messages no of the keys work in fact then I flip it shut and it reboots then everything works again? Any ideas. On another note a coworker has the 5000 and it will not charge thru his phone yet I can charge his battery using mine he took it to the sprint store to have them look at it and they said the phone has liquid damage because if you take the battery off there is a small pink tab bottom center that they said was pink because it was wet? I have the same pink dot it that true.

if they ask you,,just tell them you cleaned the phone with windex..thats bs that they have something like that. Cause I seriously was cleaning my phone with windex and I noticed the pink coming off..

DID YOU USE THE OLD VERISION OF THE CONTACT SYNC SOFTWARE??? I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE AFTER USING IT. IF YOU DID I SUGGEST YOU ERASE THE ENTIRE PHONE BOOK THROUGH THE SECURITY MENU,, THEN IT SHOULD WORK FINE...

LET ME KNOW.

according to the Readme.TXT included in the zip file its version 1.2.4. If anyone has a newer version i wouldn't mind having it

Ok how do i set my security code? I don't think i ever set the code and i ordered the phone online and opened the box myself is there a default code for sanyo phones?

You're security code is always the last 4 digits of your phone number. This happens as default when they activate your phone. If you bought it online from Sprint PCS though try the last 4 of your social. They do this sometimes in case someone else gets a hold of the phone.
