Well the camera is good except for the freaking lag. Forget about taking moving pictures. The gx32 is good for a gsm phone and since it is the only good camera phone available to us. I want the samsung 5 mega pixel camera phone LOL. Too bad its not GSM.

the lag is normal when the phone is saving hi-res photos. the delay will be less if the resolution is set lower. even expensive digical cameras have such delays.

Posted by: ajamils

I agree with the lag.....but its nothing compared to the results you get. I don't mind that lag at all.

nope, you forgot the s700. that takes some great pictures too.

No doubt S700 takes great pics but compare it side to side with Gx32......and u will see the difference.

have seen many photos taken from se s700, they are somewhat reddish. those taken from sharp gx32 are more true-color. however s700's photos are sharper.

I have to disagree with you on that....S700 pics are very pixelated and they do not look sharp as the Gx32 (for reference check out the rose pics that I took)

but experience tells me that pictures taken with 32 usually come out overexposed...

Anyone else has this prob? I usually set it to -1.

I just wish digital zoom is available for larger picture size.

i owned a gx32 for 2 months now got an s700 heres my input on pics.

gx32 takes better pics, this is true. but if you move your hand half a mm anyway it will screw the pic up. your hand needs to be ultra still or the phone is on the table and youre using self timer.

s700 is definitely better for moving pics obviously because of hte above reason.

Firstly, why would u want to take moving pics ?? and secondly, that is NOT CORRECT cuz I've taken pics while driving on the highly and they came out perfectly fine(i'll post them here later on).

well it is correct for me, dont have to be a ××××× about it. im picky about good quality pics and if taking blurred pics is alright with you then go ahead. i take moving pics when in my car, what oyu want me to do? stop my car in the middle of the road and take pics? yea, real smart..

You don't have to be ×××...i just told u that i took pics with MOVING CAR !!!! And ya if you want to take good pics then stop ur car and take pics.

Posted by: bronco

i got no idea what youre trying to say...

so you want me to stop my car in the middle of traffic just to take a pic? tell that to the traffic authorities here, maybe theyll legalize it

Ajamils...I don't think you are getting the point here. The gx32 phone takes pretty decents pics but you would need to hold the phone still when taking pictures if you don't want it to come out blurry ( in normal lighting). Bronco may be as picky as I am when it comes to pictures. I had to retake pictures many times due to this so called "Lag" of the phone. Taking pictures on the highway with this phone could mean anything...there will be times you can take a decent pic and other times where the pic would look like doo doo.

I agree with your point and in now way I'm saying tha S700 is bad....I like the picture quality of it alot too...But I was just comparing them.

Ar for lag...ya there is some lag but not as much as some ppl say...its not to a point where the phone is useless.
