Anyone know how to convert an image into Kyocera's .bqr format? Know what the specs are on this format?
I was in my slider today with the Kyocera service program and noticed that .bqr is the format of my carrier logo and web logo. I've searched all around google looking for this and can only find someone else asking how to change it on another web site's forum.
Just simply renaming an image file to .bqr doesn't work either.
Thanks for any help on this.

Hello, You need an internal image editor, they can be changed by hex only but it take many hours for one logo.
If you have more questions feel free to send an email, i have written about 20 to date

I would love to find the converter/editor as well. Anyone?
What phone do you have .bqr files for? The Slider?

Thanks Subsidy. I figured it was something really complicated. They never can make things easy.
Andrew: Yeah, I got the slider.

How can we contact you repairs?
You have your PMs turned off, and didn't leave a e-mail address.
I wanted to get a copy of the editor from you.

I'll host the editor so everyone that needs it can download it...

people emailing me asking me if I am still hosting the bqr editor...
I don't have it, never did have it..
I said I would host it.. meaning if someone found it, I would host it on my web server for people to download.. no one ever let me know they found it or had it or gave it to me for me to host.. sorry.
I don't have it.
I've migrated back to Nokia phones as I have gotten tired of Kyocera recycling the same software for their phones.. nothing but problems... phones turning off and on whenever they want to, locking up, totally crashing.. I had to warranty the SoHo 3 times, the Remix Slider 3 times, the Candid 2 times and the Xcursion 3 times... because of turning off and on constantly (the Candid, SoHo and Xcursion) or the ribbon cable going out (Remix). No more Kyocera for me!
Thanks!
