im moving and will not have the internet in 4 days,
so i was thinking about using my Vx6000 as a modem,
which i dont want to do anymore
but i installed A Handset manager and"USB Cable & Modem Driver / GSM/GPRS Modem Driver " and now when i try to access my phone via bitpim, im getting
"COM1: the phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew
"COM2: Could Not Open Port [2 'create file: The system cannot find the file specified.
i tried uninstalling what i installed , basically everything i can think of,, if there a way i can reset my phone to how it was before i installed this?
or anything to resolve the issue.
i have insurance on the phone, i might just go pay 50$'s for a new one ;[ i hope someone out there knows whats wrong, if you can help me please!!

there are only a couple settings on the phone that affect the port
that's selection and speed
bitpim wants to see a speed setting of 115200 on the phone
modem setting is 230400
check the seetings
if that's not it it more likely the drivers in your computer NOT your phone
you may to un-install bitpim and the usb drivers manually and re-install everything
