If you receive the error message: "No USB Drivers Installed", please follow these steps: 1. Unplug the USB cable from the PC. 2. Go to the Control Panel of your computer by clicking on Start>Settings>Control Panel. 3. Select the "Phone and Modems Options" 4. Under Modems, highlight the iDEN USB modem and click "Remove" 5. Now right-click "My Computer" and select "Properties" from the menu 6. Please note: If you are using Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP, click the "Hardware" tab and then click the "Device Manager" tab to make sure that there is no unknown USB connections. If there is an unidentified USB connection established in the USB connection field, remove/uninstall it by right-clicking the specific USB icon and selecting uninstall. 7. Restart your computer. 8. Power on your iDEN phone and connect it to the USB cable. 9. Open the iDEN software application that you intend to use (Companion Pro, iDEN Update, Packet Data Applet, etc). 10. Connect your USB cable to your PC. The New Hardware wizard should now install the USB modem drivers to enable you to use the USB cable. IMPORTANT: Please do not install the USB cable before running the installation software. Connecting the cable could result in improper installation of the software drivers. Please do not use a USB hub If you connect the cable to your computer via a USB hub, you may not be able to read your phone properly. Make sure you connect the cable directly to a USB port on your computer. |

General Comm. This can mean a few different things. 1. The file you are trying to put on is not the right format. 2. The file name is too long. They can only be up to 16 characters long. 3. WebJal just plain does not like the file. I have had a few files that I just cannot get to load to save my life. They are the right format, under 16 char. and everything but WebJal still will not load it. If this is the case DO NOT keep trying to load it. It may still be eating your memory and not giving you the file. Server Error Lots of people have been getting this lately. 1. They still have Vinny's server for some reason. This server crashed months ago. Get a new one. 2. You are using TekniDudes server. He took his down because of too many people complaining about him charging. All I know to do is to contact him about a Name and Password. 3. Vinny has a thread on how to set-up your own server. You can do this if you want to. I do NOT have a link to this, I have only heard of it. 4. If you still have problems or do not wish to do any of these options you can always wait till someone else makes a new server. After reading all of this you still have problems feel free to post them here and I will reply as fast as I can. |

Does the charging port usb cable not work? (problem that occurs is that webjal just does not connect to phone. It says: unable to read required phone information. check cable connection and preferences. All usb drivers are installed. It's checked for usb connection. Server patch is good. Under device manager, motorola usb modem is listed, but when I try to connect to phone with webjal, it never installs the p2k drivers)

So, I am not that great with computers but what do I do? The fine only has 6 letters in it and I don't know what else to do. Thanks in advance! Also, my husband just got me a i930, is there another way to get ringtones on there because when I pluged the usb in it, it said couldn't connect, just wondering. ![]() |
