8900 lcd switch?

I was wondering if i swapped an 8900 lcd from lets say telus or any carrier to a verizon 8900 would it matter? Also is swapping an lcd hard, i would think not too hard. Beside take the phone apart and be careful removing the hardware. Would any soldering need to be done or does the wire plug in? Any helpful responses are appreciated.

shouldnt matter.
its simple if you have the entire top half.
You can open up the top flip cover and you will see how the ribbon is connected . the ribbon simply slips out.
if you broke the ribbon in half like i did you will have to take the flip hinge apart and fish the ribbon through the hole. it simply snaps in on the keyboard side.
