I am trying to setup up my PC via my LG VX6000 Verizon phone. I was wondering if anybody knew the correct internet connection options. Please check the following below:

Phone Number #777
Username: (MyPhoneNumber)@vzw3g.com – OR -- qnc
Password: vzw – OR -- qnc

Connection speed 240K – both the phone and the PC support this speed.

On Phone: Connect via USB, not RSC

I ordered the USB Data Cable from Factory Direct Cellular - http://www.factorydirectcellular.co...e/lgvx6000.htm. My computer is running on Windows XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

PW is vzw

the cable plugs into the USB port , BUT the computer see's it as a COM port (#5) and the phone is set to RSC232

the speed is 230,400 NOT 240,000

I am new to this computer to phone connection but quick question...

does it only take away minutes or do you have to sign up for this 3g or qnc account?

If so is there anyway to set it up with only taking away minutes?

I was told by a rep that it only takes away from your minutes. That is why I only use mine on nights and weekends.
