VZW tech states 30k limit on ringtone uploads

WTF? I thought it was 100k for midi sounds? It used to work, but sure enough, I sent through a 23k midi and it worked, but 60k midis do not work. The tech suggested I was able to do larger files due to some testing or something that VZW was doing previously.

Can anyone confirm?

I'm not sure what phone you have but I've been able to send a 120K MP3 ringer to my 9900 with no problem.

I have a 542 k, 34 secod ringer on my phone. Its an mp3 changed to mid and uploaded with brewsky.

BTW I have the VOX8900

This is also on an Audiovox 8900... and I have uploaded larger midi's before.

Could it be a software problem? The tech also stated that my software version T095VEDT20_0.189 is outdated. Could that be the cause?
