I heard that it is quite slow to view pictures in GX32, about 7 to 9 seconds to view every the highest resolution picture.

Is this true?

its pretty slow to view not inly because they are so big but also because it takes extra time when using the memory card.

so approximately how long it takes to show a 1m pixels picture storing in a memory card? really 7-9 seconds?

thanks!

It's also because the phone is slow. Saving and viewing high-res pictures (even from phone memory) takes quite a long time

I agree that its kinda slow but the results that u get are well worth it.

I won't use the phone to browser through photos stored on the SD card ... yep, the phone is kinda slow to display photos... I guess it's trying to re-size the 1MPixel pic (forget the exact resolution) to fit on our 240x320 screen, which takes some processing time. After all, this is a phone, not a PDA or computer, so it's slow to just re-size a pic.

Anyhow, I used the phone built-in memory to take pics (I am not a point-and-shoot person so I don't take 100pics a nite and the 4-6MB free space on phone is ok for me) and then copy pics to memory card afterwards ... and then ... use my laptop to send to friends and stuff. And I will browse and/or edit those pics on laptop too.
