Hello All!

I am using my own WAP server for my SE47 phone... All is well with one annoying issue. How the heck do u tell this phone to go to a different URL?

What do I mean?

When I go to say for instance, wap.yahoo.com... THAT'S IT. Even when I hit the "Home" button, it will only go to yahoo. Back button will also stop at the Y! Wap main page.

I end up resetting the browser, re-entereing the WAP SERVER IP EVERYTIME... Just so I can get to the initial page that says:

"Enter URL: http://www.openwave.com"

then from there, I type where I wanna go. When I called VW and asked them, they said the way they have their SE47 users enter a URL is via their WML. They have a fwd'ing link apparently set-up. HOW THE FECK DOES THAT WORK? Or I guess, how do I set-it-up so that my "home" button is always the "enter url" page...

Well.. After much fiddling about, I found a work-around!

If you go to Setup --> Up.Link ---> and pick on of the 2 up.link, it resets back to the Enter URL page.

So! that's that I guess.. I just wish there was an easier way than doing that!
