Hello, I'm currently looking for a CDMA phone to replace my very very old Nokia 6188, which I'm using with Telus prepaid.

I think I want to get a Kyocera phone, but not sure which one. What is the difference between the 2235 and 2255? The Kyocera site just describes them as the 2200 series.

Personally I like the looks of the silver 2235, but if the 2255 is better, the face can always be changed right?

2235 = Verizon
2255 = Sprint

Technically, yes. However people have had difficulty taking the face-cover off. Also, only aftermarket covers are available for the 2200 series.

The phones are essentially the same...the network they're on is a different story. Personally, I'd go with VZW and the 2235.
