please post your preference.. if you can tell me why, that'd be even better!

C65, because it's a very good phone and it's fast, got loads of memory, a OK camera and very good calendar, address book etc.

Not CF62 because it's extremely slow and based on the 2 year old S55.

Posted by: felixdd

Ditto. Tried both, like the latter more. The CF62 is good, the C65 is awesoem

the only real reason (for me at least) to get a CF62 would be if you want a flip phone and use it primarily for calls only and java is virtually useless.

i like my cf62 though. havent had any problems. its not the spiffiest phone but serves my needs and thats all i care about.

cuz i saw it at the fido store the other day and i think its so cute. its considerably smaller than i thought! the online pictures make it look big..but its actually cute! im not crazy into games and stuff and i do find it better looking than the c65..also, ive always wanted a flip phony. haha
thank ppl!!

C65 isn't that big either. Look at it, its about 10.5cm in height and 5cm wide. It's really light and the extra memory with the camera come in handy

For around $25 more, you'll be getting a better phone which might last you longer.

The new CF62s (bluish colour) come with a better battery, so try to get one of those if you want better battery life.

The new CF62s from Fido have a 750 mAh battery; the old ones have 700 mAh. Bigger = better!

Yeah and if anyone gets it and still wants in on the now-dead clip-on camera deal....I have the camera and I'll let you have it

700, 750 mAh batteries?

i thought they only came in 600 mAh. are those batteries bigger than the original or the same size?

Posted by: rabitootoo

i got the older version.. im actually in the process of getting cf62 shipped to me..i should get it in a few days. so was just deciding to stick to it or trade it for the c65 by paying just a "little" bit of cash on top.
i dunno.. i worry the camera lens in the c65 is easy get dirty. im weird, that annoys me cuz that greatly decreaes image visibility..also, the battery cover's hard to open (heard from a few sources), and the grey part on the back looks kind of cheap (NO offense!). the good thing though is its large memory +camera.+java games

compared to the cf62's dynamic lights, smaller, flip (want a change from my previous 2 candybar-style phones)..cuter

felixdd: why would one want a broken camera attachment?

ANYONE know how many pictures i can store on the cf62 by using the camera attachemnt on it? i "think" its capable of taking pictures of 640X460 resolution (something like that)?

are the games and wallpapers any GOOD on both/either phones???

PLEASE help.. if u know the answers . thanks *_*

No no...I mean the deal is dead. Fido only had around a few thousand in stock and once they were gone, they were gone. Now that the deal's dead, all CF62's you buy from now on, have no camera.

Which is where mine comes in . It's brand new, not dead at all

The CF62's got a slightly better screen. You can't really tell unless it's side by side. It could be because of the faceplate.

As for battery cover for C65...push INTO the phone, and THEN push down. Works much better

OK,

I know I am commiting a crime here but, If I wanted a camera I buy a camera.

I am also looking for a new phone and am looking at the new cf62 and new c65 from Fido.

I want to know, which sounds better, receives better?

Easiest to operate?

From the specs the cf62 has the better battery life.

I am looking at replacing a Samson S200 and I have a camera.

So anybody that has used one of these two, which is the better phone!

Thanks Andy

To me, the C65 performs, sounds, and receives better. The CF62 has slightly better battery life because of a bigger battery.

Operation: both are the same. They have the same OS. Although the C65 is slightly faster in general GUI, and much faster with Java.

Also, C65 has IR; CF62 doesn't.

So phone wise, the C65 is still superior. Would I buy it for $25 more, even if it didn't come with a camera? I would. Would you? Your choice

definitely go for the c65 if you dont mind paying a little more.
Great phone w/ stable RF
OK camera
Light weight
Solid built
HUGE storage. i got over 200 premium quality pics in there plus ringtones that i downloaded (around 10 midis ), still have like 4MB memory left.

Posted by: AmirPars
