Anyone have any t68(m)(i) mods? i just bought a red/silver housing and black and silver crystal keypads...just curious to see if anyone has done anything to theirs

k, housing finally got here...a little bit of work to get it on, but it looks good...pics will come soon, no digi cam right now

dont buy housings from www.cellphoneshop.com the build quality on the housing for a T68i was total crap...the screen components were barely glued together, the screen scratched in less than 24hrs after reciept. also, the crstal keypads were slightly larger than the OEM one and didnt fit correctly into the faceplate. Im severely upset...going to look into returning it.

On a happy note, the charcoal black T616 housing i bought for my sister fit perfectly, although the aerial and battery covers were extremely loose and the mic didnt fit tightly enough into the case...with a little tweaking everything looks great. its a black faceplate, blue crystal buttons, oem aerial, chrome battery cover, and black middle housing. Coupled with a blue/metal theme, it looks really nice.

It always happens with those kind of housings.
I used to buy faceplates for my T68i, I bought some off eBay, and they were absolutely crap, also, i bought some at a store, here inLA, and I believe they were made in the same knock-off Factory in taiwan, or somewhere around there

,
they only stay on for a day or two.
right now am looking into buying an OEM full housing off eBay, but, it sucks that all of them are somewhere else but the US.
and they take a looooooong time in customs, plus all the time the cheapest shipping they use takes.

if somebody knows where to buy some good quality housings of faceplates in the US,please let-us know, I am in the LA area.

there are OEM faceplates a globalmob.com. Does the zirrocan gold housing have gold siding too? or is it just a gold faceplate on the silver housing? I was considering buying that one...oh yeah, Crystal keypads suck too...they're ridiculously tight and push buttons on their own...so dissappointing.
